What it looked like on Day 1...

Even though summer break just began, I am already going crazy thinking about next year.  Just look at my classroom...the top picture is what it looked like when I first walked in.  I was slightly overwhelmed, to say the least.  However, I am looking forward to transforming it into something amazing for my students!   After spending the past year teaching preschool and first grade, I will be venturing into fourth grade this upcoming year... My mind is racing with ideas and I am so excited to get to put some of them into action.  Check back later in the summer for updates as I get ready to enrich the minds of a wonderful group of 9 and 10 year olds :-)  I also plan on having a classroom blog where the students post about books they've read as part of my reading/writing curriculum.
